Muzzle-loaders.com showcases CVA Accura MR-X and release estimates in new video

Today, Muzzle-Loaders.com released a new video with a “first look” at the Accura MR-X. The MR-X was announced earlier this year, but details have been scarce, presumably due to production delays caused by COVID related supply chain breakdowns.

The video, linked above, gives us the closest look yet at the Accura MR-X. Lead by Chad Schearer, the viewer is guided through the talking points we have heard since launch. This is not a bad thing though, with the delayed launch times, getting a refresher from someone with the rifle hands on is great.

Where the video diverges though, is Chad’s breakdown of the new take down procedure of the MR-X . The profile looks similar to older Accura’s, new easier takedown steps are a great addition. Cleaning will be even easier with these new Accuras.

There was no mention of release date in the video, a wise choice by Muzzle-loaders.com in case launch is delayed, but they did respond to release questions in the comments!

The Accura MR-X has been available for preorder for some time, and it looks like the first shipment for muzzle-loaders.com should arrive in August, just in time to be shipped to hunters before the autumnal hunting seasons.

We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed, after a year of delays and shortages (by no fault of the ML industry), muzzleloading enthusiasts may be cautious to get excited.
