CVA 2021 Media Tour Continues with Paramount HTR
The Paramount HTR debuted early in 2021 and the promotional roll out continues nearly 9 months from the launch, with the latest release coming from “Hook and Barrel”, a modern hunting and fishing website.
You can read the full review here and I encourage you too do so. It’s nice to see these reviews, especially from hunters who aren’t normally into muzzleloaders. Modern muzzleloaders serve as an important introduction into the muzzleloading community for many modern hunters. Even the writer at Hook and Barrel was skeptical of trying out this new muzzleloader, but things worked out in the end.
The tagline of the article is “Primitive No Longer”, matching some of the talking points CVA has been sharing over the last year as they work to dispel the myth, at least among modern centerfire hunters and shooters, that muzzleloaders are clunky, slow, “primitive” tools. While the media tour continues for the new CVA Muzzleloaders, hunters and shooters continue to wait for the public release. Raw material shortages, manufacturing delays, and shipping woes continue to slow the rollout of not only the CVA 2021 muzzle loaders, but restocks of their older models as well.
Thankfully, it looks like the 2021 models of CVA muzzleloaders are beginning to be stocked in store shelves across the country. Muzzle-loaders.com shared this video (below) of the Accura MR-X now stateside and almost ready to ship to hunters and shooters.
Friends of I Love Muzzleloading have been sending updates from across the country, and it looks like CVA muzzleloaders are starting to pop up in the midwest, including IOWA, INDIANA, as well as OREGON and GEORGIA. Be on the look out folks!
Muzzle loading exploded in interest over the last two years, leaving many clammoring for supplies before the event and hunting seasons. We’re hoping to see this lighten up as we head back into winter and manufacturers can hopefully begin catching up with the demand as we head into 2022.
