Field Ethods Reviews the Federal B.O.R Lock Muzzleloader Bullet

Author Mike Schoby is a self described die-hard muzzleloader hunter and even participated in Rendezvous in his younger days. (We’ll have to get him back here somehow.)

While I prefer traditional flinters and percussion guns for their nostalgia and inherent challenge, I will use inlines where allowed and when I’m trying to fill a tag.

Mike goes on to describe his testing conditions and why he’s switching over to the B.O.R lock hunting this year. His reasons might be interesting for you. Mike goes on to share some nice hunting stories along with his testing, including some of the practical results of the bullet in the field.

Field Ethos is a popular upstart hunting publication trying to get back to the “good ol days” of hunting media. Their strong personality and brand focus has readers flocking to their print and web publications. Check them out if you haven’t already.
