1780, the King's 8th and roughly 1,000 Native warriors travel into the Kentucky wilderness, endeavoring to push American settlements back. Artillery in tow, they make their way to Ruddle's Station.

This is a new kind of project for me and many of the participants. This isn't Hollywood, and we're not professionals, but we set out to make something cool. None of this is choreographed or staged. I was invited to this immersion event and did my best to blend in with a camera. No re-takes, no discussion, just "running and gunning" and seeing how it went.

The time in the woods was an absolute blast with friends old and new.
