The first Kibler Woodsrunner Kits have shipped

Over the weekend, several early adopters of the Kibler Woodsrunner kit received a surprise, their Kibler Woodsrunner kits had arrived! Fans of the Kibler line took to the forums and muzzleloading facebook groups on Saturday evening to share their delight as well as some detailed photographs of the new kits for those wanting to see more.

American Longrifles Forum Member bnewberry posted several photos of his kit as seen below.

Jim Kibler himself replied to the forum thread

So, the first 25 kits I assembled to make sure everything is just right. This took me a few days or so. In the future they won't be quite as far along, but will still be very straight forward.

I honestly didn't have to remove any wood (zero) in assembling these 25.

Think of the difference between our SMR and Colonial kits compared to others on the market... The Woodsrunner is probably this much easier than our other kits.

Pair this with a very historically correct, yet beautiful design and I think we have a winner.

I'm working on carving a couple right now that will be a part of a Netflix show. Should be fun.

Jim

WIth Jim’s response, it sounds like future kits may not have all the hardware installed when shipped as these photos show. With his statement on not having to remove any wood, it sounds like Jim saved the kit owners a few minutes, future work on kits should be very simple by the sounds of it.

Announced earlier this year, the Kibler Woodsrunner was entering final production during the Kibler Open House (June 2022), with a stock on display. Since the open house, the Kibler team has been sharing more development updates as the kit progressed.

In October, several new videos were released detailing the kit and its differentiating details. These new details, like machined buttplates, gave customers a greater understanding of the wait times for this new kit.

For those of you waiting to receive your Kibler Woodsrunner, your wait should be coming to a close shortly. I hope you enjoy your kit and the lifetime of muzzleloading fun with it!
