Traditions Firearms Announces Partnership with Gregg Ritz Hunt Masters

At 4pm EST today, Traditions Firearms went live on social media to announce a new partnership with Gregg Ritz of Hunt Masters.

Gregg started the live-stream talking about his support of muzzle-loading in the past, and his excitement to be more involved with it in the coming months. The feature of the live stream was the Traditions NitroFire Rifle. While controversial in the muzzleloading community, the NitroFire is being positioned well for announcements like this.

For anyone unfamiliar, Gregg Ritz is an “Adventure Hunter” with a load of sponsors who spends a lot of his time traveling the world for interesting and unique hunts. For someone this high profile, the NitroFire is a perfect fit. The Nitro Fire is similar to a modern centerfire rifle, but it’s not a stretch for anyone used to the more traditional modern inline muzzleloaders, making the perfect muzzleloader to bring modern shooters into the muzzle loading community.

Apart from the normal talking points we are used to when it comes to the Nitro Fire, the team spent a lot of time talking up the ease of use and limited cleaning needed with the Nitro Fire. We’re seeing this demand grow more and more as the muzzleloading community grows. Innovations like Blackhorn 209 provided shooters with a cleaner burning blackpowder substitute, and it looks like the Hodgdon Triple 8 inside the Federal Firesticks is looking to be the next clean burning muzzleloading powder.
