Cleaning your muzzleloader doesn't have to be hard | Cleaning my flintlock longrifle in 20 minutes

In this video, I wanted to show you how I clean my Kibler Southern Mountain rifle after the morning of the shooting.

Throughout the week I receive a lot of emails and questions about cleaning a muzzleloader and how much a muzzleloader needs cleaned after shooting.

Cleaning is the #1 reason I hear people DON'T like shooting muzzleloaders. I wanted to make this video to show that you can add an extra 20 minutes to your range day and enjoy your muzzleloader. Cleaning your muzzleloader doesn't have to be a laborious task.

Please understand that this video is not meant to be gospel. If you ask 10 muzzleloading enthusiasts how to clean a muzzleloader, you’ll get 11 different answers. I present this video only to show viewers at home one simple way to clean their muzzleloader after a day of shooting so the process doesn’t feel so complicated.

As of writing, the comments section of this video has already become an ongoing conversation about muzzleloader cleaning with folks sharing their tips and processes. I encourage you to read through the comments and get a broader understanding of the methods that people use.
