Gunmakers Fair at Kempton Launches Video Seminars to Preserve and Promote Muzzleloading Education

The Gunmakers Fair at Kempton has launched a new video series documenting the myriad of educational seminars that happen during the fair. The first three videos will be published this week featuring Mitch Yates, Dave Person, and Eric von Aschwege.

The first seminar published was with notable longrifle builder Mitch Yates. In his seminar, Mitch shares some of his tips and techniques for traditional longrifle finishes. Mitch lists out the products he uses and how he uses them to help aid you improve your finishing techniques.

In this seminar from the 2023 Gunmakers Fair at Kempton, Artist Mitch Yates shares his process for finishing traditional muzzleloader stocks. Mitch covers the tools, techniques, and supplies for his finishing process. Mitch also discusses other solutions for finishing stocks, answers questions, and shares insights from his experience as a muzzleloader builder.
